1.       SATIRE:  the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc.
2.       IRONY: the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning: the irony of her reply, “How nice!” when I said I had to work all weekend.
3.       HYPERBOLE: Exaggerating an issue in order to point out its simple weaknesses.
4.       Colloquial: characteristic of or appropriate to ordinary or familiar conversation rather than formal speech or writing; informal.

7.       Trance: Dream State.
8.       Providence: luck, fate.
9.       Whale: hitting someone.
10.   Genies: Magical Creatures.

13.   Delirium Tremens: Crazy smasms.
14.   Quicksilver: mercury.
15.   Abolitionist: people opposed to slavery.
16.   Speculate: guessing, predictions of what’s going to happen, assumptions.
17.   Thrash: beat, harm, frail your arms.
18.   Reticule: make fun of.
19.   Contrived: plot, manufacture an idea.
20.   Derrick: people system, platform.
21.   Skiff: raft.
22.   Rapscallions: Troublemakers.
23.   Gaudy: over-the-top, flashy, extravagant.
24.   Infernal: hot.
25.   Outlandish: bizarre.
